I can’t believe what I have read…they are actually doing The Hobbit and not just one…no..they are making TWO!! I was so unbelievably happy when I heard this news that I just could not stop smiling. I have been waiting for this since the Lord of the Rings ended and when it just seemed to never happen, I gave up. I have been pretty bummed about the Harry Potter movie ending but this has given me a whole new reason to be ecstatic! It is like the Lord of the Rings is starting all over again. I know maybe I am too excited but I grew up with Lord of The Rings more so than Harry Potter..I have watched the trilogy at least once a year every year since it came out so I am an avid lover of the movies. I truly believe it may be the best movie of all time and The Hobbit is going to be nothing less. It is unfortunate that the first one isn’t out until December 2012 (end of the world I know) and the second is due out December 2013 (so if the world does end, I will die very VERY angry) but I would gladly wait 60 years for this movie as long as I get to see it before I die. I think it may be the only way I can truly die happy.
